You can save money and gain increased peace of mind with a colocation contract with IFL. In particular, our security offering means that you never have to worry about unauthorised access to your systems.

We start at building level. Bollards prevent external access by ram raiders. Our centres are manned with site security 24*7*365. CCTV starts at the car park and extends right the way through our data centre and facility, right through to your individual rack. We keep CCTV records for a full 30 days – enabling you to identify patterns of activity. We have motion detection systems throughout the building and intruder alarms on all of our lifts, with a specifically and individually secured goods lift. Each data centre hall requires the use of a proximity card for entry.

And when you or your authorised representatives want to get in? Well, the building is never closed to you. You’ll need to show us your photo-ID card, although we can make pre-authorised access available for nominated third parties. We swap your id for an electronic key fob which will let you into only the necessary areas of the building. We have a pass check and an electronic visitor checking system.

At rack level, there’s your own, rack mounted, IP CCTV. Your systems will be mounted within a bespoke cage with its own unique security, requiring a proximity card and a digital combination lock just to get close, Finally, on your own rack, you’ll have combination locks on both the front and the back doors.
