Racks, Cages & Suites

You may want to supply your own equipment from the ground up. Or you may want to rent rack space from us. Each of our racks has a combination lock, and vented doors at the front and back for super-effective cooling. Whether you use our racks or supply your own, we’ll secure your racks within locked cages with multiple levels of security. You can opt to create your own IT suite in our facility, taking advantage of our unrivalled connectivity, bandwidth and power offerings.

Racks

Our racks start at a mere 11u quarter rack – sufficient to start off a small business. But most of our clients occupy at least one 48u full rack, with many opting for multiple racks in a dedicated caged environment. We can provide the racks, or you can bring in your own, confident that IFL can provide the total power and communications environment.

Cages

Before long you’ll be seeing the advantages of placing the majority of your IT provision within IFL’s colocated suites. At this point, we offer clients with a minimum of six racks the option of a dedicated caged environment. The cages provide a tough metal shell with the added peace of mind of a range of additional security options from digital combination lock (supplied as standard) to full access control systems including biometric authentication. Access to the cage is entirely with you, and you can choose to encompass additional work areas and parts storage in this locked, secure environment.

We don’t charge separately for your cage (or the racks within it); all of the costs are encompassed in your single, easy-to-understand billing.

Suites

The more of our space you utilise, the more you benefit. As we add racks and cages to your work space, we create an effective, efficient offsite IT suite for you. You gain all of the benefits of an HQ or internally-based IT suite, with drastically reduced costs and hugely improved power and communications facilities. In addition to hosting your IT we can create areas for you to relocate critcal staff in the event of a disaster. You and your nominated staff, suppliers and engineers all have 24*7 access to your dedicated IT suite.
