IFL, leading providers of Business Class Data Centres and colocation solutions, have signed contracts with bet365, one of the world’s largest online gaming groups, to provide their Manchester Data Centre location and further secure their growing online presence.

The multiyear contract provides bet365 with a 2,500 square foot private suite to accommodate high density server racks. Advanced physical security features, including volumetric entry systems will protect the new facility which also offers diesel generators and UPS power protection in n+1 configuration. Redundant power supplies will be provided to all rack locations and cold air containment solutions will optimise cooling efficiency.

The private suite will be hosted at a new IFL data centre in Manchester and will be constructed to bet365 specifications as part of a larger IFL data centre build project. The new IFL facility will be commissioned in Q1 2010 and reserves additional electrical power and physical rack space to accommodate further bet365 infrastructure investment over the next few years.

This expansion phase is one of several planned by IFL in Manchester and several other UK Regions as the carrier neutral colocation provider looks to build a UK network of regional Business Class colocation facilities.

bet365 are one of the world’s leading online gambling groups with over 3 million customers in 200 different countries. The Group employs over 1000 people and according to the Sunday Times is the UK’s 7th largest private company.

bet365 are also making significant investment into the expansion of their complex national network infrastructure, facilitated by the presence of multiple on-site network providers.
