The North West 'Get Connected' Event Returns for 2010

February 15, 2010

'Get Connected’, the IFL hosted networking event made a welcome return to Prohibition Manchester, on February 4th 2010. H20 Networks, builders of bespoke fibre links, were the first company to sponsor 'Get Connected' and their presence certainly added value to the format of the evening and heightened interest in other companies sponsoring future events.

The evening was attended by over 100 IT and business professionals, from all areas of the country, proving that these events are gaining more momentum not only in The North West but across the UK and that Get Connected is fast becoming a valuable method of strengthening business connections with industry professionals nationally.

'Get Connected’ will be back Thursday, May 13th 2010 with new sponsors but with the same relaxed format that helps make these events a great success.
Many thanks to all who attended and IFL look forward to welcoming you again in May.

Donna Sheridan, Marketing Manager, H2O Networks Comments-“H2O networks recently sponsored the “Get Connected” Event in conjunction with IFL. As the Marketing Manager for H2O Networks I was very impressed by this event. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet like minded people in an informal setting. Over 100 attended this event and we made some great business contacts. The event was a great success and I will not hesitate to work with IFL in the future. The whole event ran like clockwork and I am looking forward to the next event in a couple of months.”

Jeremy Grey, Business Development Manager, IXREACH Comments- Thanks for a great evening. I think it was a resounding success and everyone benefited from the convivial atmosphere which allowed an excellent networking opportunity. It was good to catch up with people and make new contacts.”

Dave Bebbington, Business Development Manager, Storage Management Co. Comments-“Really enjoyed the evening and handed out quite a few business cards to others who also attended. Nice atmosphere in the bar and I think everyone entered into the spirit and communication. I found intros were easy to make. Food was nice too! Pencil me in for the next event please and I have put it in my diary.”
